The FBM214 (P0916DC) is an 8-channel HART-enabled analog input module for the Foxboro I/A Series DCS. It interfaces with 4–20 mA transmitters while simultaneously supporting HART digital communication, enabling acquisition of secondary variables, diagnostics, and instrument health data in addition to the primary process signal.
Designed for high signal integrity and long-term reliability, the FBM214 features per-channel galvanic isolation to eliminate ground loops and protect system electronics. Its hot-swappable design allows maintenance or replacement without interrupting active process control loops.
