The FBM224 (P0926GG) is a high-density Modbus communication interface module for the Foxboro I/A Series DCS. It provides four independent serial communication channels, enabling seamless integration of Modbus-based field devices into the Foxboro control architecture. Supporting both RS-232 and RS-485/RS-422 physical layers, the FBM224 acts as a robust gateway for third-party equipment such as power meters, motor protection relays, PLCs, and analytical instruments.
Each communication channel can independently manage up to 32 Modbus slave devices, allowing a total capacity of 128 devices per module.
