When installed as a 1-for-1 redundant pair on a compatible redundant baseplate, two FBM216 modules form a fail-safe architecture. In the event of a single-module failure, signal processing continues without interruption, ensuring uninterrupted delivery of both analog process values and HART diagnostic data to the controller.
