Description

GE FANUC IC695CRU320 is PACSystems* RX3i Redundancy CPU, designed for real-time control of machines, processes, and material handling systems. It interfaces with programmers and HMI devices through a serial port using the SNP Slave protocol and communicates with I/O and smart option modules over a dual backplane bus. This dual bus system includes a high-speed PCI backplane for advanced I/O and a serial backplane for easy migration of existing Series 90*-30 I/O.

Features

• Hot Standby (HSB) Redundancy: The redundancy system consists of two units, each requiring one Redundancy CPU (IC695CRU320) and a Redundancy Memory Xchange module (IC695RMX128/228) configured as a redundancy link.

• Memory: Includes 64 MB of battery-backed user memory and 64 MB of non-volatile flash user memory. Bulk memory is accessible via reference table %W.

• Programming Languages: Supports Ladder Diagram, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram, and C. Refer to the PACSystems RX7i & RX3i CPU Programmer’s Reference Manual, GFK-2950.

• Symbolic Variables: Auto-located symbolic variables can use any amount of user memory.

• Reference Table Sizes: 32Kbits for discrete %I and %Q, and up to 32K words each for analog %AI and %AQ.

• Program Blocks: Supports up to 512 program blocks, each with a maximum size of 128KB.

• Firmware Upgrades: The CPU and modules in its backplane support field firmware upgrades.

• Serial Ports: Two serial ports: RS-485 and RS-232.

• Ethernet Communications: Ethernet capabilities via the rack-based Ethernet Interface module (IC695ETM001). Refer to the PACSystems RX7i & RX3i TCP/IP Ethernet Communications User Manual, GFK-2224.

• Time Synchronization: Compatible with SNTP Time Server on Ethernet network (with Ethernet Release 5.0 or later).
