The AAV542 is a 16-channel isolated analog input module designed for high-precision temperature acquisition in Yokogawa’s FIO (Field network I/O) architecture. This module supports a wide range of Thermocouple (TC) and RTD sensors, including Pt1000 for high-accuracy applications. Its full channel-to-channel and channel-to-ground isolation ensures signal integrity in electrically noisy environments or where different grounding potentials exist.
Engineered for mission-critical and safety-intensive applications, the AAV542 is certified for explosion protection standards including FM/CSA Non-Incendive and Intrinsic Safety (IS). The module supports dual-redundant configurations, allowing maintenance or replacement without interrupting ongoing process monitoring. It integrates seamlessly with AFV30, AFV40, and AFV10 Field Control Units (FCUs) and ESB bus nodes.
