The AAV544 is a 16-channel isolated analog output module for Yokogawa FIO systems within CENTUM VP and CS 3000 architectures. This module provides bipolar voltage outputs (-10 to +10 V DC) and serves as a critical interface for variable speed drives, actuators, and secondary controllers.

Unlike non-isolated modules, the AAV544 provides full galvanic isolation between outputs and system logic, preventing field-side electrical interference from affecting DCS performance. Its high-speed 10 ms update period and robust construction make it suitable for mission-critical control loops in harsh industrial environments.
