Acting as the distributed “brain” of the control network, it executes advanced regulatory, logic, timing, and sequential control for Fieldbus Modules (FBMs). By localizing control near the process, it ensures deterministic performance and low network latency.
Designed for high availability, the P0904HL supports 1-out-of-2 (1oo2) redundancy with automatic bumpless failover. It communicates with The MESH network via dual 100 Mbps Ethernet ports and manages field-side FBMs over 2 Mbps HDLC Fieldbus, making it a core component of modern industrial automation architectures.
