The NFAI143-500/A4500 is a high-density 4–20 mA analog input module for Yokogawa STARDOM FCN and FCJ autonomous controllers. It is designed to interface with standard field transmitters and convert analog process signals into digital data for controller logic processing.
The module features 16-channel high-resolution data acquisition with galvanic isolation, preventing ground loop interference and protecting system electronics from field-side electrical noise or surge events. It is widely used in high-speed process monitoring and PID control applications.

Does this module support HART?
No. It supports only standard analog 4–20 mA signals. Use the HART-enabled NFAI143-H version for digital instrument communication.
Can it power field transmitters?
The module itself does not provide loop power. External 24 V DC supply may be required depending on terminal board configuration.
Is it hot-swappable?
Yes. In redundant FCN-500 configurations, the module can be replaced online without interrupting process operation.
