The SDV144-S13/D4A00 is a high-reliability digital input module designed for the Yokogawa ProSafe-RS Safety Instrumented System (SIS). It provides 16 isolated digital input channels and is engineered to comply with SIL3 safety requirements for mission-critical process protection.
Unlike standard digital I/O, the module integrates continuous self-diagnostics to detect internal hardware faults as well as field wiring issues such as short circuits and open loops, ensuring high availability and functional safety.
