The ABB PFCL201C is a specialized load cell (tensiometer) for measuring vertical force, widely used in industrial processes like rolling mills and paper machines. It uses ABB's proprietary Pressductor Technology, based on the magnetoelastic effect, allowing highly accurate force measurement without relying on physical deformation.
Its stainless steel construction ensures ruggedness, durability, and resistance to harsh environments, including shocks, vibrations, extreme temperatures, and corrosion. This model has a nominal load of 20 kN, with an overload capacity of 200 kN. A 10 kN version is also available under part number 3BSE027070R10.
