The SDV531-L63/PRP-S4 is a safety-rated digital output module designed for the Yokogawa ProSafe-RS Safety Instrumented System. It provides 8 isolated digital output channels optimized for driving high-reliability field devices such as safety relay coils and solenoid valves.

Purpose-built for safety-critical logic, the module incorporates integrated pulse-test functionality to verify each output channel’s ability to transition to a defined safe state on demand. Continuous on-board diagnostics monitor both internal hardware health and external circuit conditions, enabling early detection of faults such as short circuits and open loops.
