Overview

The controller carrier serves as a mounting platform for up to two controllers or EBIMs (8521-XX-XX). It also supports a Power Supply Monitor module (8410-NS-PS), which can monitor up to seven power supplies in the system node and notify the controller in case of failure. Power failure signals are connected to the module through a screw terminal block located at the rear of the carrier. Additionally, each controller or EBIM is equipped with a serial port connection, and the carrier features a manual “change state” (failover) button for operation.
