The VF701 S3 is a high-stability Vnet/IP interface card for PCI Express (PCIe) workstations. It connects Human Interface Stations (HIS) and Engineering Stations (ENG) to Yokogawa CENTUM VP and ProSafe-RS networks, providing 1 Gbps deterministic data communication for real-time process control.
The S3 hardware revision introduces improved thermal dissipation, upgraded components, and enhanced long-term reliability. With dual-port RJ45 connectivity, the VF701 S3 supports fully redundant network paths, ensuring continuous operation even if one link fails.
