The FBM203 (P0914SV) is a high-accuracy RTD temperature input module for the Foxboro I/A Series DCS. It provides eight isolated input channels designed to interface with 2-wire, 3-wire, or 4-wire Platinum RTDs, converting low-level resistance measurements into precise digital temperature values for critical process control.
To achieve laboratory-grade accuracy in industrial environments, the FBM203 employs a high-resolution Delta-Sigma A/D converter. Per-channel galvanic isolation minimizes common-mode noise and eliminates ground-loop effects, ensuring stable and repeatable temperature measurements even in electrically noisy plant conditions.
