The SNB10D-425/CU2N is a high-availability Safety Node Unit within the ProSafe-RS series. It functions as a remote safety I/O expansion chassis, linking field devices to the Safety Control Station (SCS) through the ESB (Enhanced Safety Bus) network.
Designed for maximum uptime and safety integrity, this model supports dual-redundant power supplies, redundant ESB communication, and redundant I/O configurations. The “-5” environmental specification includes ISA Standard G3 conformal coating and extended temperature capability, making the unit suitable for corrosive and high-temperature industrial environments.
