GE FANUC

GE Fanuc Automation Corporation was a significant joint venture between General Electric (GE) and FANUC, founded in 1986. The collaboration combined GE's industrial expertise with FANUC's cutting-edge automation technology, establishing it as a leading provider in the field of industrial automation and control systems.

On August 17, 2009, GE and FANUC announced the dissolution of the joint venture. This decision allowed each company to refocus on their core strengths and growth areas. FANUC continued to advance its CNC and factory automation technologies, while GE concentrated on expanding its industrial automation, process control systems, and embedded computing solutions.
