The AAI143-S53/K4A00 is a ruggedized, high-density 16-channel analog input module for Yokogawa Centum VP and CS 3000 Distributed Control Systems (DCS). This isolated module is designed to reliably acquire 4–20 mA signals from field transmitters under harsh industrial conditions.

The S53 hardware designation denotes a high-specification variant featuring ISA Standard G3 conformal coating, providing superior resistance to corrosive gases such as H₂S and SO₂, as well as humidity. Its wide operating temperature range (-20°C to +70°C) allows deployment in remote instrument enclosures (RIEs) or cabinets without active climate control.

The module includes the /K4A00 KS Cable Interface Adapter (ATK4A-00), enabling high-density connectivity to AEA4D terminal boards via KS1 cables. Combined with a 10 ms data update cycle and 1500 V AC galvanic isolation, the AAI143-S53/K4A00 ensures fast, accurate, and secure signal acquisition for critical process loops.
